A counterweight is a weight that, by exerting an opposite force, provides balance and stability of a mechanical system. Depending on the subject project, the counterweight may be designed as 1:1 roping or 2:1 roping. An optional safety brake is able to be added for specicif cases as well. The width and height of counterweight fillings will be decided by our engineers in accordance with your hoistway requirements to ensure the optimal solution.
