A Car frame is made from structural steel to support cabin platform & encloser with safety device underneath the frame. Progressive Safety gears are provided to stop & hold the elevator, in case excessive descending speed is attained. This is achieved by means of a speed governor installed in the machine room, connected to the cabin, by means of a steel wire rope, with necessary devices.
